Learning outcomes

At the end of the academic year, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of societal, political, legal, and financial pillars of the health care system.
  • Identify and employ the principles, models, and strategies for direction, organization, and management in the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the fundamentals of Health Economics. Be able to analyze and evaluate health policies and health systems from different approaches and conceptual frameworks.
  • Acquire and synthesize the methods, techniques and instruments necessary to analyze health organizations, plan and direct services, manage their human and economic resources and valuate results with criteria of quality, effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the fundamentals of the digitalization of societies and the development of artificial intelligence, promoting a critical analysis of the impact that these disruptive changes are having on health systems.
