Integration Module

Building innovative and sustainable solutions to global health challenges (3 ECTS)

Learning outcomes

The integration module is one of the highlights of the Europubhealth+ programme. It takes place for 3 weeks at the end of each academic year, on the nice green campus of the EHESP School of Public Health in Rennes, France. It is an exciting opportunity for all Year 1 and Year 2 students to come together (around 80 ) and learn from each other. During the module, students participate in a variety of activities related to their training and their professional aspirations besides a busy and happy social life in the attractive city of Rennes.

Group project

Tutored by international visiting professors and faculty members from EHESP, Year 1 and Year 2 students work in small student-led teams to design and defend innovative and sustainable public health interventions addressing global health challenges. Students benefit from the rich diversity of academic, professional and cultural backgrounds represented in the classroom and enhance the acquisition of practical knowledge and skills. The group project presentation in front of a jury panel allows these future public health professionals to improve their oral presentation skills while receiving feedback from experts in the field.
